Welcome to Faire and Co's July 2024 School Holiday Program!
We are thrilled to announce our fun-packed School Holiday Arts and Crafts Program, designed to inspire creativity and delight young artists.
Running from July 1st to July 12th, our program features a variety of engaging art and craft projects that will keep your children entertained and their imaginations buzzing.
Whether your child loves painting, crafting, or exploring new artistic mediums, we have something special planned every day.
Here’s a detailed look at what to expect each day of our school holiday art program for July 2024.
Remember we are operating at both our Kalamunda and North Perth studios this school holidays.
Week 1: July 1st - 5th
Monday, July 1st: Flamingo Fun
We’re kicking off the week with a splash of pink! On Monday, kids will create their own flamingo crafts using vibrant colors and materials. This project is perfect for sparking their creativity and helping them learn about these fascinating birds.
The session will run from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and is suitable for ages 5 and up.
Fancy Flamingos (10:30 AM - 1:30 PM): Following the morning session, we have an art project where kids can paint elegant flamingos.
This session is tailored for ages 8 and up and provides a wonderful opportunity for them to dive deeper into artistic techniques.
Tuesday, July 2nd: Wearable Art Day
Tuesday is all about wearable art. We’ll start the day with Paper Crowns (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM) where children will create their own unique crowns, perfect for playtime and dress-up.
Animal Necklaces (10:30 AM - 11:30 AM): Next, we’ll craft adorable animal necklaces. This project allows kids to combine creativity with personal expression.
Flower Bracelets (12:15 PM - 1:15 PM): To top off the day, kids will make beautiful flower bracelets, adding a floral touch to their wearable art collection.
Wednesday, July 3rd: Flying Crafts - Planes and More!
Wednesday takes to the skies with our Take Off (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM) session. Children will craft their own airplanes, exploring the wonders of flight and aerodynamics.
Up, Up & Away (10:30 AM - 12:30 PM): In this extended session, kids will create a range of flying crafts, from kites to hot air balloons, using various materials and techniques.
Thursday, July 4th: Frog Day
On Thursday, it’s all about our froggy friends. In the Clay Froggies (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM) session, kids will sculpt their own cute frogs using clay, learning about textures and shapes.
Froggy Kingdom (10:30 AM - 1:30 PM): Later, we’ll dive into a more complex project where children can create a detailed froggy kingdom scene, incorporating multiple elements to tell a story.
Friday, July 5th: Frida Kahlo Inspired Projects
We’re wrapping up the week with a tribute to the iconic artist Frida Kahlo.
In the morning session, Frida Kahlo (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM), kids will create art inspired by her unique style and vibrant colors.
Fantastic Frida (10:30 AM - 12:30 PM): This extended session will allow kids to delve deeper into Kahlo’s work, creating their own masterpieces that reflect her influence.
Week 2: July 8th - 12th
Monday, July 8th: Koala Crafts
Week 2 starts with a cuddly theme. In Koala Colours (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM), kids will paint and decorate adorable koala crafts, learning about these iconic Australian animals.
Cosy Cuppa (10:30 AM - 1:30 PM): The second session of the day involves creating cozy koala-themed art pieces that children can cherish.
Tuesday, July 9th: Sweet Treats Day
Tuesday’s theme is all about sweet treats. We’ll start with Balloon Ice Creams (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM), where kids will craft colorful ice creams using balloons and paper.
Paper Plate Ice Creams (10:30 AM - 11:30 AM): Following that, we’ll make delightful paper plate ice creams, combining painting and collage techniques.
Cupcake Collages (12:15 PM - 1:15 PM): The final project of the day will be creating vibrant cupcake collages, perfect for those with a sweet tooth and a love for crafting.
Wednesday, July 10th: Space Adventures
Wednesday is all about space exploration. In Blast Off (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM), kids will build their own rockets, ready for an adventure to the stars.
Out of This World (10:30 AM - 1:30 PM): This session will take them further into the cosmos, as they create space-themed art, from planets to astronauts.
Thursday, July 11th: Tiger Tales
Thursday’s theme is tigers. In Sleepy Tigers (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM), children will make cute and sleepy tiger crafts, exploring different textures and colors.
Dreamy Tigers (10:30 AM - 1:30 PM): In this extended session, kids will create detailed tiger artworks, using various painting techniques to bring their tigers to life.
Friday, July 12th: FOMO Fridays
We’re closing out our program with FOMO Fridays, featuring multiple open sessions throughout the day:
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
These sessions offer a flexible, fun environment for kids to finish off the week with their favorite projects or try something new.
